Celebrity guests rock on to music by indie-pop band Ocean Park Standoff at 1-OAK in West Hollywood, CA (April 6)

The usual heavy traffic on Sunset Blvd. certainly didn't keep onlookers and star sighting tour buses away from catching a glimpse of their idols making their way down the red carpet. Some celebrities found it amusing when a couple of adoring fans driving pass the event would shout out praises to their favorite stars like Abby Lee Miller, Sharna Burgess, Days of Our Lives' Camila Banus, and some of the band members from R5.

"This has been a very hectic time for me. I've done like 19 interviews this week," said Dance Moms, Abby Lee Miller, to reporters at the Star Magazine event. The dance instructor has lately been making the rounds on various talk shows to not only discuss the criminal charges she will be facing, but also her surprising exit from Dance Moms. When asked how she felt about DWTS' Cheryl Burke taking her place on the show, Miller didn't hesitate to express her viewpoint of the recent announcement.

"I think it's wonderful. I want another woman to realize what I went through,” Miller said exclusively to BCNF, "Because [Cheryl] has been on a hit network show, which my mom adores, something tells me she's not going to get treated the way I was."

In Miller's true fashion of telling it like it is, while throwing shade at Burke, also stated, "I actually found out through a friend of mine, who is a huge choreographer in this town, that they called a lot of people before they called her."

Despite all of this back and forth drama, Miller is still under contract with the show. Perhaps, within a few months, we will find out if the rumors are true that the reality star will get her own spin-off or maybe make a comeback for season nine of Dance Moms.

While inside the club, stars like Kelly Osbourne and Joanna Krupa were thrilled to see the band, Ocean Park Standoff, headlining the event. The newly created L.A. based trio band features celebrity DJ turned musician Samantha Ronson, Pete Nappi, and lead singer Ethan Thompson.

The group was promoting their debut EP album after having come back from a brief North American tour. All five tracks really give a fun, alternative pop sound that you more than likely would listen to while making a road trip to the beach. Samantha Ronson (who is also the sister of "Uptown Funk" music producer Mark Ronson) best describes their album as 'celebrating the small victories in life.'

So far their first single "Good News" has become their biggest hit with over 2 million Spotify streams. And it looks like "Photos & Liquor" might be their second successful track since it definitely got the crowd going. Ocean Park Standoff is expected to go back on tour in the next couple of months.
